Zexi is a master's student in the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Group (BMEGG). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from UCSD in 2018. 

Zexi is passionate about exploring molecular biology and immunology to develop innovative treatments and diagnostic approaches for diseases with widespread impact. He also enjoys contributing to the wellbeing of entire lab members by providing assistance whenever he could. 

Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, music and concerts a lot. He also plays some mobile games and watches videos a lot.
